Olusola M Ayeni (LLB BL)
Olusola Ayeni is Founding Partner of DataLaws. He has considerable experience of Information Technology and business processes and has been involved in the implementation of various IT projects.
He specialises in Information Technology Contract Negotiations, Electronic Commerce, Quality Assurance and Data Protection.
He has helped implement strategic IT policies in various financial institutions and commercial companies.
Olusola obtained a degree in law from The University of Ife, and is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. He has also attended various courses and workshops with regards the formal implementation of quality assurance and other IT strategies.
Prior to the establishment of DataLaws, he worked as a quality assurance consultant and solicitor for over twelve years utilizing his multiple skills to advise various organisations on how to implement appropriate quality assurance strategies for complex projects in line with internationally required industrial and legal standards.
Some of the companies who have employed his expertise are ING Barings, The Woolwich Plc, Entranet Limited, The Citizens Advise Bureau, Bush Internet and Georgeson Shareholders Consortium.
He has also worked in various Solicitors firms which include Kaslers solicitors, Maxwell Jones solicitors and The Powell Callen Partnership. He advised on issues primarily concerning employment, intellectual properties, residential and commercial conveyancing and ecommerce.
Olusola’s background as both a solicitor and information systems consultant affords him the ability to understand the underlying issues concerning information technology and the laws governing them. This enables him to advise on various technical projects vis a vis local and international regulatory requirements.
Olusola is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the International Bar Association
